01.16.2011-Sunday-Rest Day

Last week we made some changes and had some new faces leading the WODs.  How did it go?

As we move forward, we urge you to embrace the change as just another challenge in our little CrossFit box.  Understand that we are committed to elite programming and coaching, in hopes to forge elite fitness within you.

Every day you have the freedom to choose.  You can choose to be inspired by others, or provide others with inspiration.  You can choose to do the work, or make excuses why the work didn't get done.  You can release your inner athlete, or choose to keep her/him hog-tied with a defeatist attitude.  You can choose to open your mind, or you can keep it closed.  You can be flexible or rigid.  You can choose to love and learn, or to be critical and judgemental.

Many times we do what we can to offer up some key words of inspiration to keep you focused, whether it is during a WOD, or just on the blog.

Strive for excellence… always!

Destroy mediocrity… when appropriate!

Never settle… unless it is a rest day, then settle down!

Encourage your fellow CrossFitter (no matter where she/he trains)… always!

Have a great Sunday!

  1. Some changes indeed! Although it takes getting used to coming into the shed and not seeing Pat, Scotty I think you did a great job leading the wod. Thanks for the push and motivation during those kb swings and burpees! Change is sometimes very progressive and necessary.

  9. Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know the Stefiniw houshold did a taste test tonight from the foodee project. Stuff peppers with spicy turkey and cauliflower (“rice”). As I have many food critics in my house I wasn’t sure if anyone would like it. It was terrific!!! Very tasty. The only comment received was that the peppers could have been cooked longer. If you follow the directions they are very crunchy. I prefer them that way as I eat raw peppers every day. I cooled them for 30 minutes instead of 15 and they were still very crunchy. Next up will be the Paleo Pad Thai. Hoping for another great week at the shed!! I am feeling back in the game! Burpees were no problem this week. Yeah!
