Well anothergreat recipe! The shrimp and groots were delicious!!! I subsituted vegtable broth for chicken broth in the groots, just becuase but it really should not have made a difference.
For those of you who love grits, mashed potatoes, etc, these groots are very tasty and of similar comsistency. The recipe gives you an optional addition of cheese which I did add, because I am trying to get my family to eat. Everyone ate them and loved them. Who ever thought celery root boiled and then put in the blender would taste so good. Rich you may want to try this one or at least the groots, you may not miss rice. Really good.

I even add some herbs like rosemary sometimes. They’re good for topping my shepards pie concoction and even a “potatoe” pancake with the addition of a few eggs. I’ve even used them to make a sort of tortilla/crepe with the addition of even more eggs.
I never thought of adding stock and making them a bit looser like grits. I’ll have to try it.
We just tried Robb Wolf’s paleo biscuits and gravy. It was good but needs a little work. We’ll get back to you on this one.
