A few thoughts/reminders:1) DUES: Please pay your June fees2). HEAT: Its gnitteg hot and will only get hotter in the gym as the summer progresses. Get used to staying extra hydrated throughout the day. Also, bring a towel to the gym with you to dry off with or wet it in the sink to cool off with.3). BARBELL CONTROL: Please try to remember to keep your barbells under control. Its better for the equipment, and is a matter of safety. Saw several near misses last night with innocent bystanders almost taken out by a bouncing barbell. Think of dropping in terms of safety; make a safe choice for yourself; like a failed rep on a heavy day; don’t be afraid to bail on that sucker. On lighter faster days, make a safe choice for your peers. Work to not drop unneccessarily, and when you do drop guide the barbell into the ground so it doesn’t go flying around. 4) ROCK CLIMB: we’re still on for Sat/Sun the 11th and 12th of June. Looks like most folks prefer saturday. I need firm comittments in the form of $200 cash to hold your spot by Tuesday of next week.Word.
