  1. sorry turtle, i’m so psyched for J9 to stomp this thing, the suspense is unbearable…
this is an important thing for the Shed to have an accomplished and determined athlete representing us.
J9, its also important for you to know that we’re all behind you and we all know you have what it takes to get this done.
On the flip side, its time for some of you young bucks to start thinking about training, specifically for next years sectionals…

  7. For the record, I am not the “master turtle guy”
I will refrain from my opinion, because it is completely biased. But one word can sum up what has been said already…

  19. I vote for a ShedHead Team to represent in the Affiliate Cup in 2011!
    SvW-
I think you have more anxiety by the lack of WOD posting than I do…although I did have a dream last night about a distance row.
    BF-
Good to see you on the boards!
What kind of out of the ordinary component to a WOD have we not yet seen?
there have been a few rope climbs
    lots of sandbag carries
    flying pull-ups
I think only 1 tire flip – so that could be a possibility
    sled dragging/pushing
that hit with an sledgehammer-type thing
    vest WODs
    stadium stair running
    hill running

  25. So maybe now that a CFT-like WOD is taken, it won’t show up in the NE. The only other benchmark WOD that would have all of the CF community talking about is FRAN – but I don’t know if that is even an option to be included in a sectional…and so we wait!
    British Columbia Sectional Workouts Announced
Event 1 “Football Total” Saturday (8:30am start)
    1RM Power Clean
    1RM Back Squat
    1RM Bench Press
    1RM Deadli
The Lifts will be done in the order above, completing one before moving on to the next.
You will be given a max of 3 attempts for each lift.
Your best 1RM in each will be combined for a total score.
Event 2 “Pride, Lust, and Envy” Saturday (1:30pm start)

  31. If anyone going to Sectionals this weekend would like to carpool w/ the McCoys, please let one of us know. We’re in Stanhope, right off of 80. I think most of us would be heading east to Montclair, and Pat indicated parking would be difficult, so I think it’s a good idea.
