04.11.2009 Day 5

Mother Nature wants to rain on our parade… so I say we put up a fight…

…a "Fight Gone Bad" that is!

"Fight Gone Bad!"

Three rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

Add your points and post them to comments.

  1. Main site WOD is a great challenge.
    Near-pukie-kinda WOD.
    FGB:
We’ve done the standard, in additional to using the FGB format with different exercises, as well as FGB tabata-style.
Today’s CF Journal has another approach – task priority version – which I think we should try at some point (and maybe it will get us up to the 300 score range faster).
You vs. you…try to beat your last score (and let’s see if anyone can beat Dale’s top score).

  7. WOW!
    You guys rock!
Very impressive #s and improvement on this.
Got my eyes on Steve’s 307 already, but will have to attempt in a full group setting. It will be very tough to beat!
Sena & I passed on FGB today to do Day 4. Don’t think I can produce stellar #s if I attempt tomorrow AM by myself.
Until this comes up on the board again….

  9. thanks to you all, but there’s room for everyone over 300 without question, and just the right people in this group to push for it.
I watched the video J9 posted this morning and thought there’s no reason to be less that 300 for this format. Those two guys were well under 5 minutes all three rounds, and that pushed me.
Between that and RL blowing the roof off that place every week, there’s some serious momentum growing right now.
This spring and summer will be the proving ground for exactly what kind of tenacity this group has.
if we can grow from this core group that’s training now, the sky’s the limit for the Shed Heads.
    you know i’ll be there…
