RedShed Rest Day…
We have had a handful of new athletes giving the shed a shot, and we welcome you all with open arms (and squats!).
Being new to CrossFit lends itself to many questions, especially for those athletes who have been training using traditional methods. Please take some time during this rest day to educate yourself on the basics. Basics Part 1
The CrossFit main site is a valuable tool that provides a plethora of information, and we have many links to it on our site. Visit the main site daily… you will learn something every day (as well as be inspired).
As we move through the month of April, we draw ever closer to moving into our new space in Netcong. Janine and I are doing our best to make sure the transition is smooth for all of our athletes. Please practice patience as the transition takes place.

Welcome again to all our new athletes.
As Pat mentioned, there is very useful information out there to understand CrossFit Training (on the main site as well as this site).
What you will find are some tools to focus your entry into CrossFit workouts and fitness in general.
Gone are the promises of easy and comfortable results (ask any of our athletes that have been training for some months now).
The best CrossFitters educate themselves both about movement and fitness broadly, as well as about their own individual strengths and weaknesses.
Proper mechanics, consistency, intensity and safety are key.
We will be measuring the changes in your capacity and scientifically proving that you are getting fitter and more capable.
Welcome to the RedShed!
