  8. Just a word of advice to those participating in the mudder tomorrow: If you have rings on your fingers do not wear them tomorrow. You run the risk of losing the ring on some of the obstacles…along with the finger the ring is on.
The risk is reduced if you are wearing gloves but why take the chance?

  15. Scott & Janice-
Did you get a glimpse of the last secret obstacle?
I don’t think we have to worry about cold temps, but more about overheating!

Not even a hint of the last obstacle! Darn those Tough Mudder makers! I did overhear one of the staff say they were going to make sure the fire was nice and hot though!
We didn’t walk the entire course, but took the time to look at the water obstacles. I have much less anxiety than before now. Everyone should be able to go Rx on the mudder water obstacles 🙂
Definately going to need teamwork to scale the Berlin Walls. I wasn’t tall enough to reach the top of the wall, even using the little step thing on the wall…some pushing or pulling may be needed.
They have a bag check for participants, but we couldn’t figure out how we’ll claim our bags or how they’ll know who’s bag belongs to who.
It took us about an hour and 45 minutes from Oak Ridge, so we’ll probably leave tomorrow about 7:30 tomorrow.
I really think we’re all going to have a lot of fun tomorrow!
(J9 – we met Ariana(?) owner from Morristown Xfit at Whole Foods – we stopped for groceries on the way home. I was sporting Shed colors, Scott had on his FGB t-shirt, so she said hello)
