  1. running shoes: depends on the individual (flat feet, high arches, pronation, gait, where you run). Check out runners world cool running etc – they have a lot of good footwear info. I might go to a running store where they’ll watch you run and tell you the best shoe for you. (I learned the hard way, one foot’s screwed together).

  3. Usually stick to NB they are cheap at Kohls but im not sure they are the same quality you would get at a shoe store. Might be factory 2nds.

  5. Since I have a minute to chime in… I used to be New Balance ONLY, but I have moved to Asics for running, and my feet prefer them.
I like NB for training, but not for running.
oh yeah, I did the wod this morning… it was a ton of fun

  7. Randy, I completely agree with Deb… Going to an actual sporting goods store or a runners’ store to get the right fit for your feet would be your best bet.
I don’t think kohl’s type stores would have the variety or quality of shoes for the kind of extreme training that we do.
My personal preference in running shoes for my troubled feet, is Nike Shox…

  9. Lets face it DP, when aren’t you challenged mentally?
Asics are kind to me right now as well.
DP, the jumprope is a Duvide dC model. the story is that i bought it from rogue fitness, they sent the dC accidentally, when i asked about the mistake, they sent me the dBM, and the first one was on them because i had used it. The dC no loner exists as a model and has been replaced with the dD for some reason. the other interesting thing is that Rogue doesnt even sell the dC they sent me. the dBM is much, much heavier and once i adjust the length you will see it at the shed as well. its a great rope but will run you $45. i got tired of paying $10-$20 and seeing them break. http://www.duvide.com and http://www.roguefitness.com
