RedShed Rest Day… make-up day

main site rest day

Well, it is official!  The RedShed has moved out of the garage and into some nice space.  We started out with 7 athletes.  Now, 7 months and many sweat souls later, we are over 30 strong and getting stronger!

I admit I will miss "the shed", but I am very excited about the future of our program.  I, for one, feel very fortunate to be in this position, and to be able to work with each of you every day (yes, even you and your infinitely broken a$$, Beardo!).

So thanks for the support, the participation and for spreading the word!

  1. Don’t yell at me J9… I know I should have moved the chalk bucket prior to taking the pictures!
At least the ratty old eliptical is not in the pics… or the kerosene heater!

  3. That was from me Bill, wife on my laptop again…
Now a general note to the board…
I’ll certainly miss the first Shed as much as anybody, we’ve shed a lot of blood, sweat, and well, i guess a few of you have shed some tears… not to mention all of you who have met Pukie along the way.
What i’m here to tell you is that the Shed was just that when we started, a tool shed, a garage, a storage unit. WE made it the RedShed together, filled it with equipment, and energy and heartache and all of the stuff i mentioned in the last paragraph.
The space has changed and it will again i assure you, before long the new space will seem as small as the shed started to. The key all along is the people who train there and what they bring to the table and who they bring with them. As far as im concerned, wherever we end up training together, as long as the goals and attitude remain the same, we can call it whatever we want.
This is the last piece of sentiment or nostalgia i’ll bore you with… (DP, dictionary.com if any of these words is a problem for you)

    Pat, Janine
Good luck in your new location. I hope that you’ll double the size of your clientele by year-end. The place looks good.
Hope to see both of you in New Providence for this Saturday’s 5K race.
