  1. I’m going with option 1. I really need it…the burpees will have to do. Plus I haven’t seen my son Hunter in a week and a half (Sleep away Camp) so I am looking forward to spending some time with him tomorrow night.

  5. AVALANCE – Paleo Benchmark WOD
    Run 1 mile
    Row 2k
    Run 1/2 mile
    Row 1k
    Run 1/4 mile
    Row 500m
    27:07
What a lung buster. This one is sick!
Wouldn’t be too run-friendly at the new box – with having to do 4X400m, but the O’RedShed still proved to be mighty.
Thanks Pat for sneaking home a rower for me!
    Rest Day starts now!

  9. It is a little late, but I will start a topic.
In the spring, we were working with just under 20 athletes. On May 4th, we moved to the new RedShed, and on May 31st we had 50 athletes… and the number hasn’t dropped.
With that being said, where does your fitness rank among your “life” priorities? Is it in the top 3, top 5, or dare I say… top 10???
Let us know, and explain why!
For me, training comes in second to the love I have for Janine, Allyson and Caitlyn. I have said it many times, and I mean it… I would do this for free if I were blessed with financial wealth. I am not only in this for my personal fitness. Your improvement and success ranks higher than mine, and there are many days where I am amazed at what you are accomplishing.
The RedShed is not just a gym… it is an experience… a process, and I am proud to be a part of it.

  13. My last post got lost in cyberspace apparently.
Fitness for me ranks right behind my wife and kids and providing as best I can. (Thanks God!)
Anyway, the RedShed is a lifestyle and I am very happy to have it become part of mine and my family. It is something we all look forward to and share time together.
I get more motivated every time I finish a wod, see my wife, sister, brother in law, and my new friends finish theirs. Hunter is now in the act and I think most of us have seen Gracie do Burpees and Ava shyly refuse to demonstrate her skills (aside from climbing the pullup bars).
Since it was a rest day, I did 100 burpees today.
    Back in the Shed tomorrow!

  25. Pat,
I have to say training for me is very important. It is certainly within the top three if not the top two. My family absolutely comes first. I have no greater love than for my kids, husband, siblings and parents. Then training and work and side by side. Training exercises my body and allows me to continue to feel well and work exercises my mind and allows me to continue to do well.
With all this said I have trained in many ways and many places but never did I feel as PART of something as I do here at the SHED. I thank you, J9 and all the other athletes for the experience you provide to me each and every time I walk into the Shed. I love it and Thank you.
