The theory still holds true. Have pizza the night before and get a PR in training strength movements.
I’ve only tested it out with pizza at night, followed by an early AM training session…but it has not failed yet.

It was definetly a diffrent type of feeling cheering my wife and friends on knowing they had already given so much and everyone was finding a way to give more and keep going. This was definetly an awsome experience, thanks J9 and Pat for supplying us with an opportunity to do this kind of stuff.

Muscles are a little sore but not too bad.
However, I think I will still have to take a rest day today. Apparently I overexerted myself considering I was still on medication for a sinus infection and ended up with a fever again yesterday afternoon that lasted till this morning.
Hopefully, I’ll be in tomorrow.

1st WOD post pregnancy…
I was surprised at how my body felt (not used to WODs without 28lbs. belly attached to my body). I had forgotten what it was like to be just me! LOL
However, I was so thrilled to find that I hadn’t lost that much strength. Tonight, I wasn’t as strong as before, but I was much stronger than I thought I would be!
Crossfit helped me during my pregnancy and now I see that it helps post-pregnancy too.
I am glad to be back and can’t wait to keep improving week to week!
