RedShed Rest Day

RSCF pics 942

First three days last week reminded us we had legs… as if we needed to be reminded!  At least it got your mind off your healing hands, right?  It was a light week in the shed, as far as attendance goes, but we have many vacationing ShedHeads returning this week.

My top pics of the week:

Matt Walloga has the RedShed record for the fastest 500 meter row, posting a 1:25.1 on Thursday August 20th, 2009.

I know it is hard to tell, but yes… this is the Batmobile!   As I was getting gas the other day, I saw the Batmobile getting some work done in the garage of the gas station.  I had to take a picture, because I know that nobody would believe me.

What kind of crazy things do you see during the day?

  1. Yes, front squats suck. Look at the front squat photo in detail and check Janine’s depth in the mirror view. Nice work there.
And yes, I saw the batmobile.
Try not to have to make up a ton of burpees this week if you don’t have to. They will add up real quick.

  5. I didn’t even realize that pic existed – just looking at it reminds me of the leg pain that WOD caused.
Nice work, Matt on the row. You continue to crush all other times posted on that. Sub 1:20 is not very far away!
My “running week” starts on Sundays – so was happy to get in a 7.5 miles this morning. Could have gotten more – but felt the blisters on my feet coming on.
Burpees were a challenge this morning – could have been from lower back soreness from those deads yesterday.
    Happy Rest Day!
Get ready for another great week in the Shed as we say goodbye to the Burpee Challenge!

  13. they’re compression socks Chaz, they help my calves recover from and prevent muscle spasms and pain.
in reality they have nothing to do with my sheer, rugged handsomeness… I just got it like that!
Dp will back me up, he was commenting the other day on this exact subject.
