I have learned to embrace the burpee. I will probably continue to do around 50 a day just for grins and giggles. I will be happy to not have to do more than that though!

Having just recently started the ring dips as Rx’d, going directly from thrusters to the ring dips was punishing. Hopefully, the muscles will respond to it and it will get better from here on out.

Ok – Looking for some strategy tips for the 100 burpees for time tomorrow. I don’t think even J9 can go a hundred unbroken. I have tried a variety of ways – 20, rest then sets of 10. max, rest, sets of 10. 90 Second intervals…They all put me around 9-11 minutes.
If I push myself harder, form starts to suffer.
Any ideas?

I would like to see someone else step up to the challenge and get them without stopping.
Form will break down, that is a given. You cannot penalize intensity… you are going to hit the wall eventually, and form usually is the first thing to go.
My suggestion is to pace yourself and try to go as long as you can without stopping. If you must break, limit it to 10-20 seconds, then power through until the end.
