Great post regarding "extra work vs. extra wods" from CF Champions in Texas

First, let's all congratulate Kevin on his recent CrossFit Affiliation… and wish Brendan luck as he enters his second day of the L1 Cert!

 

Rest Day Reflection

Life lessons…. they have been happening to us since we were born.  Some of us can recognize them clearly when they are happening, others do not understand the significance of them until they have already occurred, and must depend on hind-sight in order to learn from those lessons.

As an athlete for most of my life, I had the privilege to participate in sports and be a part of many teams.  Some of the best life lessons I have experienced came from playing rugby at East Stroudsburg University.  As a club sport, we were not afforded the luxuries of the varsity sports on campus.  We had to pay to play, pay for our uniforms, coaches and referees (and of course we had to pay for all the beer!!).  We used to live by a saying that we kind of stole from Shakespeare, it went something like this… "for he who sheds his blood for today, shall be my brother".  Point is, we were a team, a band of brothers, all with the same goals…. very similar to what we have going on the the RedShed.  I choose to write this today because it is time for us to come together and support one of our teammates…. click here to read on…

SIGN-UP

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
