  1. Great job RedShed Racing Team!
Official results have not yet been posted online.
Also, I compiled a paleo section and added it to the left-hand navigation bar.
Feel free to check it out – it has your paleo resources all in one place.

I started your cookie recipe and realized that there had to be some ingredients missing (eggs?) And how long/what temp do they bake?
Anyway, I gave it a NON-paleo twist and tried to incorporate the chickpea cookie components (chickpeas and choc chips). It came out as a treat that is probably better served with a spoon b/c the squares I cut were not quite sqaures.
Just proves that modifying a WOD is not the only thing I do – I can also modify a recipe.
And hopefully SvW is reading this shaking his head…
Maryanne and Ro – missed your presence early on Saturday morning.

  11. LOL – probably more from running to catch up with the shedheads, steve 🙂
I used two eggs….it was about 20 min at 350. Today I tried with carrots & allspice & cinnamon, but I think the bananas needed to be riper & I needed more allspice, not quite like the other ones – which were GONE when I got home today!

  16. Bananas!
That probably would have been good to add as well – you didn’t list that either.
    Oh well…
Here is a variation using carrots:
    Carrot Cake Caveman Cookies:
    Ingredients:
    – 2 cups mini carrots
    – 2 cups almonds
    – 1 cup shredded coconut
    – 1 teaspoon nutmeg
    – 1 teaspoon vanilla. (I think it would actually be better with 2 tsp vanilla but I have not tried it yet).
    – 2 teaspoon Evoo or Coconut Oil
    – 3 eggs
    Directions:
    1. Combine all ingredients except eggs in food processor. Pulse until small but a little chunky.
    2. Combine mixture with eggs in a large mixing bowl.
    3. Form into “patties” and place on a baking sheet. I made 10 with this batch.
    4. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Mine took about 40 minutes.
    5. Enjoy!

  21. I used the basic recipe with those changes… Im forgetting here, my train of thought doesn’t translate to the board!
I’ll tell you, no recipe is a failure – whatever I make here, they eat it! Funny.
Cream of tartar… you think we could use that with some beaten egg whites to get some volume? Pbly iffy as far as Paleo, but I read it comes from (prosessed?) grapes at least.
    Is carob allowed?

  31. Photo album of the 5K posted at the top right of the website.
Lisa and Janice – sorry we had to make a quick getaway and did not see you 2 come in.
Also glad to hear that the hill at the Shed helped prepare for the hills in the race! That hill is doing something good, right?
