110807 RedShed Rest Day

Just the other day, I received an email from Mare Galeos from SCWF (F2F).  The message couldn't have come at a better time (it was just a really tough week).  Since the message of "thanks" was really addressed to our awesome community of ShedHeads, we thought it was only right to share it with all of you.

 

A Thank You message from Mare Galeos…

Good morning Pat, Janine & RedShed Family,
 
First of all, an apology for falling off the grid so to speak!
 
I knew I had to get July's event behind me before I could put thought to paper.  It was such a crazy event I'm not sure my brain is clear yet but I can't let any more time pass.
Since starting SCWF I've met some of the most amazing people. They have come into my life as runners, volunteers, sponsors and have remained as dear and valued friends.
Just when I thought the journey couldn't get any better I meet all of you!!!
My son and his brother-in-law had spoken to me of CrossFit in general terms as far as the workout, but really zeroed in on the "family" aspect.  Brian told me the CrossFit Family experience would be hard to beat. Having met all of you and been in your company I realize what an understatement that is.  
For a group of people who had never hosted a Fitness Challenge event …. well, you could have fooled me!  The energy, so positive, flowed everywhere and you were all "Grace under pressure" to be sure.  All of you were so inclusive, making Greg and I feel right at home! Though, for sure, you didn't need either one of us!!!  RedShedCrossFit event raised enough funds for 5 mammograms!!!!!!!  That is a HUGE accomplishment for your first Rodeo!
 
I feel truly honored and blessed to have been given the gift of your friendship, your compassionate nature and unflagging support in this rather sometimes daunting mission.
I look forward to working with all of you in the future but more than that I look forward to forging deeper friendships all around!

    We just wrapped up WOD 4. Holding those handstand was brutal on the shoulders! We got 203 kb snatches, which was good for 4th. We moved up to 4th or 5th. We should be in the top heat!

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
