So here I am thinking that perhaps as an added bonus these WODs would not only make me stronger but maybe assist with the loss of my lovely double chin….lo and behold I seem to have left today after the WOD with yet another chin.
I hope I never do that again.

This was a tough decision – both are good ones.
I almost diverted to do Mr. Joshua instead – which would have combined a little of both (deadlifts from DT and the ghd sit-ups from Hansen) and it had a running!
Then I was leaning towards Hansen for the very selfish reason of not wanting to be in the modified column for DT. Then I thought – Filthy 50 has all those kb swings…
And so DT it was. I need to get stronger on all of those barbell lifts anyway.
It is now looking like to Filthy 50 will have to be put on hold. Achilles pain might prevent any kind of bounding (and also keep me from running). And you can’t really sub in different exercises for the Filthy – that would just be a mockery of this great WOD. So sad!
I will just have to put together another monster chipper that does not require any jumping.

I probably should have thought about the filthy KB swings, but i just didn’t want to do the power cleans on DT; that was my reason for going hansen. It was awesome tho!
