11.22.2009-Sunday-RedShed Rest Day

RedShed Rest Day

Week started off great, then we had a bit of a drop-off in attendance.  So do we need to have a cooler of beer in the gym on Fridays to get you young guns to train??  (Not happening!)

As we approach the first Holiday of the "Holiday Season", we have a ton to be thankful for, and we touched on that this week.  Next thing to consider is the dreaded "New Year's Resolution".  Well how about we make a resolution to NOT have to make a resolution??

Start Now, Make a Decision, Turn a Weakness into a STRENGTH!  What's it gonna be ShedHeads??  What's it gonna be??

Don't forget about the turkey day 5K, who's in?

  1. Won’t be running with you guys on Thursday but will be rocking the Shed shirt as we run a 5 mile race in Newport RI. Hopefully we’ll represent well and won’t let you down.
It has only been 6 weeks since I began making the Shed a part of my life and the changes that are happening are impossible to ignore.
I still have a long way to go but my family, my business and I can’t thank the shed enough.
For the first time in a long time I am truly looking forward to 2010.
    Thanks

  6. SvW-
That is awesome that you are making a return to the 5K.
    Kat-
Congrats on reaching your 6-week mark. Don’t ever look back! Good luck on your race.
    McCoy-
Thanks for the tip. I had only seen the So Delicious refrigerated brand in the health foods store in Chester. Although now I am a fan of the canned version.

  16. Family day in the kitchen! We made two batches of the RedShed Larabar mix, two venison meat loaves, and a huge pan of veggie fritters!
I added fresh cranberries to my batch of the larabar mix.
Here is a challenge for the group:
What should we call our RedShed version of the larabar??
Since I roll them into little balls, I vote for RedShed power balls, but I can easily form them into bars and call them something else.
