  1. Well we needed the rain. I was in a fun day off mind frame today and was suppose to be at an “off-site” today at Great Adventure. One of the benefits of working on a great brand with cool partnerships. Now, working. Atleast now I can make the shed tonight 🙂

  10. So who will be working on hang cleans today!! I know CFWE had some shedhead visitors yesterday.
Be sure to use the hook grip and get under the bar!
Also partner carry isn’t bad at all if you can do the firemans carry. Take a minute to practice and don’t be scared of some dude sweat.

  19. Some would argue that it’s easier than piggy backing. Give it a try, CKL. Maybe it’ll be easier for you, maybe not. Go piggy back if you like. As long as they’re not touching the ground, you’re good.
I know Doug’s gonna do it. And Doug’s never wrong.

My coaching point of view on WOD #2, regarding carrying your partner:
10:00 is not a lot of time to do the partner carry and front squat 100 reps. Take into consideration the weight of the barbell, transition time, and holding a bumper plate over your head. These will all tie into time off the front squat. I would be very surprised to see many teams get deep into their box jumps. But who knows, I could be dead wrong!
So, with that said, practicing the fireman’s carry for the more difficult partner carry is a good idea.
    Just my opinion!
