  1. i did fran for the first time during the cert, and i have to say she is probably one of my favorites…i also remember liking the filthy fifty, but its been a while so maybe my brain is fuzzy…
worst (meaning I would get anxiety if I saw it written on the board as a wod for the day) would probably be fight gone bad…ah

  6. No surprises here…
    Fav CF benchmark WOD:
    Filthy 50, Murph
    Least fav:
    Row 5K
There are quite a few RedShed WODs that I enjoy as well-will have to look them up and then post.
Incorporated new active rest in between strength sets-25 double unders. Keeps your heart rate up in between sets.

  11. Least favorite for me was the 10-20-30 of sqaut cleans, pushups, and pullups. It took a lot of mental fortitude to keep picking up that bar for the last 30 reps. I still have nightmares.
Though it was early on in my shed days, I still think fondly of “The Bear.” Maybe I’d think differently if I had more weight on the bar!

  21. Pat, I was thinking about coconut too! Gotta go to the store tonight so I can make some.
Love birthday WODS, don’t really have any I dislike, although Karen did a number on my legs last night. Having trouble walking today.

  26. Is that the Kitchen Sink Larabar mix? Im waiting for you to start throwing in chunks of beef, and eggs.:)
Favorite WODS: FGB, Filthy 50, and Cindy.
although in the middle FGB and Filthy 50 I usually hate it, once its over i like it again.
Least favorite: guess its that thruster and burpee WOD that got the better of me.

  31. Im with Pat, i was brutalized by Kelly in the past, specifically with a 24″ box and a winter row for run substitute.
I like most of the Hopper Deck/Hero wod’s and the occasional bday wod.
Main site has a lot of great programs, but my favorite stuff is trying Pat’s homegrown, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse!

  36. KELLY!!!
Forgot about that one…even the Shoeless Kelly! NOT FUN! And we only use the 20″ box!
The AVALANCHE Paleo Benchmark WOD is also one that kicked my butt!
    SvW-
You are right about the homegrown-ness of Pat’s signature WODs. Affiliates doing their own programming is what rocks!
And one of my favorite SvW responses (when I created a Burping Nicole WOD):
J9, that doesnt resemble Nicole on any level…
you should take some credit yourself and name it Crazy J9!
Im officially never doing that workout, you heard it here first
Yeah – it’s great to have SvW back in the Shed.
    BF-
You can atleast make your attempt for 30 on the pull-ups, right?!

  51. McCoy, you are right… it does sound like a “kitchen sink” mix.
Just experimenting to see what will hold together the best and not be so sticky on the fingers. I think the coconut dried it up just enough. This was definitely my best batch so far.
