  1. Winter runs-
Will be part of the cheering section until probably about March when my racing season will start.
    Endurance WOD-
Tempting…but not today. Last 5K row was last December, so I hope to make it just a yearly event – which means it must happen in the next 14 days.
    Jeff-
    Awesome FGB!
    Miller-
Tell us about your paleo journey so far and how it has helped you!
    Finally…
2 more days until the holiday WOD!
    Happy Rest Day!

  6. I always thought you just ran. Temperature shouldn’t even be considered unless we are talking about real extremes. Last year Elena and I ran a ton of cross-country runs in Mahalon-Dickerson all winter long. This year we started bring some of Kat’s dojo girls with us. Wanted to offer the same to all Shed-Heads, lets get a group on a Saturday or Sunday and run some trails! Its fun and Elena, Kat and myself know the trails well.

  11. Thanks Brian! I’m up for it – in fact I need to break in my new trail runners!
There is a Snowshoe 5k on 1/23 at Mt. Creek. All proceeds go to Susan G. Koman for the Cure for Breast Cancer. http://tubbsromptostomp.com/ Check it out.
Supposed to be a great event and definitely sounds pretty challenging(and no doubt a lot of fun).

  16. Im down with trail running, i prefer cc runs to road running any day… Those runs you posted last weekend look great and im in for them both.
Im a terrible runner btw, and its not likely i’ll get better any time soon, but i enjoy running in the woods if anywhere… my brothers and i know miles and miles of trails behind shawnee, but i dont have any distances charted…

  21. Of course I’m in for winter trail runs, but Sunday I work breakfast. SvW, one of our favorite runs goes from Saffin’s Pond to Lake Shawnee and comes out one house down from your parents! It would be awesome to have a RedShed trail team and run some of those winter trail 5 and 10k’s Brian found!

  26. Brian, nice job on taking the lead on this. Hopefully you get some running partners. I will be hanging xmas lights and putting up our tree on Sunday, so I am out.
Also, nice job posting more times than J9. It’s about time someone beat her at something!

  31. I am out for the winter runs. Don’t particularly enjoy running to begin with, but I will probably tackle a 5k or two in the spring.
Worked out in the gym at work today:
Bench 3,3,3,3,3 final round was 235lbs.
    Double unders, pushups, situps:
21,18,15,12,9,6,3 No stopwatch but I went at it hard and really saw some good progress on the double unders.
    See you all tomorrow!
