this was one of the first CF WODs I did. It was late December 2007 or early January 2008, and SvW and I did this one in my garage.
no rubber floor, no bumpers… iron plates! neither of our barbells weighed 135 because we had to piece together whatever we had to make two barbells (each were heavier than rx’d, but not by much!)
no heat, and no real idea what was about to happen.
about a half hour later, I remember laying in the fetal position on the cold concrete and hearing SvW asking me if I was ok.
    yeah, I was ok
    I was better than ok!
we repeated this WOD on many occasions, and with extremely faster times on each attempt.
it just brings back great memories for me, and I thought I would share!
not sure if you guys have a WOD like this for you, but if you do, please share your story with us today!

  10. Most memorable WOD for me was Coach Douf and Brielles Birthday WOD this summer, I was only 2 weeks in to CrossFit when that day rolled around, it was extremely hot from I can remember that day and afterwards I laid on the ground motionless for about a half hour. I may have lost about 10 pounds in sweat from that WOD but. Since we have done many similar wods since then I hope to see that one again in the future and crush my time on it!

  19. Memorable WOD’s are the ones that have really challenged me or the one’s that for some reason I actually did really well at. I’ll probably bite my words but I’d like to do Murph again someday. It was really challenging to me because I recently started doing RX pull-ups before Murph, in fact I think I was still wearing gloves! That one took me almost an hour. It will be interesting to see how much time I can cut off of that.
