  1. I told the guys that at this morning’s Safety Meeting.
I am in detox mode now, but was like Keith all of last week.
For what it’s worth, I drank water and coconut water all day long yesterday. It was slightly above average as far as exertion goes and despite the fact that I don’t know how I could have taken in any more fluids, I still lost 5-7 lbs.
Don’t worry, it’s all back now

  10. As I often do on a Monday, I can’t help but day dream and think about all the places I’d rather be than in the office “working”. Today I’ve been reflecting on the past 4 days I spent with my kids at the beach and in various swimming pools and how it related to CrossFit and General Physical Preparedness. Our favorite activity over those few days was throwing my daughters around in the pool. Since my girls are 12 and 10 now, it’s not as easy anymore to launch them several feet in the air while in the water. But by applying either a clean & jerk or a wall ball technique, it was a piece of cake. For this I was so grateful to have found the Shed and our awesome coaches. Each time I held one of those kids in the front rack position, I just kept hearing Colin and Doug in my ear “drop under the bar”. But in this case it was “drop under the kid”!

  19. I was giggling to myself last week thinking the exact same thing. I had to push jerk my kid, from the floating rack, in order to get him over head in the pool/ocean. The baby is more like a wall(ceiling) ball. My niece and nephew are like L1 or L2 weights, so thrustering was more than sufficient for a good launch.
