  1. On second thought, I’m going to wuss out. The ride to the Green Twp municipal bldg has been fun, but the switch to fleet/freezing rain has brought me to my senses. 6:15 open

Keith and Adriana – Welcome to the Shed!
So, without even knowing it, yesterday when we WOD’ed was our FOUR YEAR SHEDIVERSARY!
From the bottom of our hearts, such deep gratitude and love to the Coaches who so patiently and competently challenge all of us to achieve our goals. And to all the Shedheads we have come to call family, whether it be old timers who remember us walking through the door that day or the January Basic Training graduates we were honored to WOD with yesterday. The Redshed is indeed such a special place.

  28. Recipe to share: Cauliflower Pizza Dough
    2 ingredients!!!!
    INGREDIENTS
    1 head cauliflower
    2 eggs
    PREPARATION
    Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a food processor, process cauliflower until finely chopped.
Steam cauliflower for five minutes or until tender.
Place cauliflower in a towel, and squeeze out excess water so it is completely dry. I just poured into a colander and pressed with a spoon to drain. But you really need to get rid of the excess moisture.
In a bowl, mix egg and cauliflower until well-combined.
On a parchment-lined baking sheet, spread cauliflower dough out until it resembles a pizza round. Bake for 40 minutes.
Top however you want and bake in a 450°F oven for 7 minutes or until cheese and toppings have baked.

  37. Even Ally Cat tried some of it and she dislikes most vegetables.
The crust does not really get too crunchy, so it is more like eating it with a fork.
This is NOT paleo pizza – as there is cheese on it. But since I added back in dairy in the form of post-WOD choc milk deliciousness, I thought I would give this a try and hope that cheese did not internally combust my body.
This recipe definitely has potential and can certainly be done with pure paleo toppings.
    Try it!!!

  55. Just read this from Lisbeth:
    http://games.crossfit.com/article/you-are-and-are-not-rich-froning
    and I registered.
Last year I didn’t compete because I thought, “what’s the point if I’m not even close to making regionals?” I just did the wods unofficially. After reading CPJ’s invitation, I was thinking I’d do the same thing again. I’d treat them as benchmark tests.
I guess that different feeling is “the point.” As a runner, I know there’s a difference between a time trial and a race. You’re supposed to run them the same, but, somehow, you seem to have more in the tank when you have something on the line even if that’s where you land an a list of countless athletes thousands behind the leaders. The possibility of a few extra reps in those 5 wods and the fitness gain they represent is why I’m registered.
p.s. Chiara, everyone cares when YOU’RE going to the shed.
