Housekeeping Update!!

->Regarding scheduling, being wait-listed, and "just showing up"…

  • please, please please ALWAYS schedule your training on Mindbody.  Why?  Because it is our policy, and it is extremely helpful for your coaches to know who and how many will be training in any given heat.
  • if you are on the waiting list, IT IS OUR POLICY, and we encourage you to show up… the waiting list is there to allow us to reach what we believe to be the maximum for any given workout, and any more athletes added to the mix is unsafe and not in the favor of the athletes regarding safety and coaching.
  • if a heat is locked out, that means we are at max capacity… "just showing up" in this case is NOT our policy, and we are asking kindly that you please DO NOT just show up and expect that the coach of that heat will accommodate you, or allow you to take up equipment and space from those who signed up for their training.
  • "just showing up" because you have in the past, or because we have been too lenient in the past is not a reason to "just show up" anymore, especially without signing up or because you are blocked out of a training session.  If you "just show up" to a session that is at full capacity, you will not be allowed to train, and you will be asked to kindly wait until the next heat.
  • being late is sometimes out of your control, and we get that… but being consistently late is an issue and disrespectful to your coach and your fellow athletes.  Please do your best to be on time, or schedule different training times to ensure you won't be holding up a class or miss warm-up and instructions.
  • if you have to cancel, please remove your name on Mindbody and post a comment on the blog!

We are unique in the fact that we have very high athlete retention!  With that said, many of you KNOW which heats are notoriously busy each day of the week.  If those are the heats you prefer to train in, SIGN UP AHEAD OF TIME to ensure you don't get locked out!  AND… if you forget, and you get locked out, please UNDERSTAND that just showing up is not the right thing to do.  Your safety and success are our priority, and these policies are in place to ensure you get the best training experience possible, with safety and success in mind.

If you have questions or concerns regarding scheduling, please feel free to email me directly to discuss…

Snow Policy:

We will always do our best to be at the Shed so that training can take place.

In the event of snow, please check the blog PRIOR to traveling out to the Shed.  We will post an update 30-45 minutes prior to the first class.  We will certainly do our best to give as much notice on being open or if we will be canceling classes.

We need to take into consideration safety above all, as well as the parking lot being plowed.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!  (and for signing up for your training!!)
