Calling all Shedheads! Who wants to push their limits and participate in the Crash B Sprints (World Indoor Rowing Championship). The concept is simple, row 2,000 meters as fast as you can. No need to qualify, no need to win..but an open opportunity to push yourself, test yourself and have some fun along the way. I can guarantee you will surprise yourself.
I recently bought a rower which really sparked my interest. Yes, I’m tall and heavy so that helps..but there are age and weight classes.
I talked to Pat and he would be willing/interested in setting up an “ADC like” program to get anyone ready to give it a shot. I am really considering giving it a shot, but it will be much better w/ some teammates.
Registration for the event opens in 2 days and the actual event is on 2/28/16 in Boston (http://www.crash-b.org/) .. I will even drive!
Trying to gauge interest, which will gauge what kind of program Pat might be able to create! Just reply with interest and we can chat offline.
Thanks, Pete

Sometimes I notice things out of the corner of my eye during my rowing intervals…but mostly it is staring at the poster of Colin and singing to Britney Spears, while re-applying cake batter chapstick in between intervals.
Doug definitely caught my eye as he surprised himself and found himself above those rings.
Very cool!
