30 Days (well… almost 30 days) Paleo/Burpee Challenge

30 Day Paleo / Burpee Challenge
Go 30 days Paleo, and complete 1000 burpees in December!

PALEO FORMAT: 30 Days of
•        No sugar of any kind (fruit is acceptable, gum is allowed!)
•        No dairy
•        No grains, pasta or rice
•        No legumes, peanuts or peanut butter
•        No alcohol

You get two FREE CHEAT DAYS:  Kelmers’ Christmas Party and 1 other day in December.

POINTS SYSTEM:
•        Each day you start with 0 points
•        Any intake of non-paleo foods will result in 1 point
•        Points handed in every Monday in December
•        Honor System on points and non-paleo intake…  Download December PaleoBurpee Scorecard

Scores will be posted on the website weekly!

BURPEE FORMAT: 30 Days
•        Accumulate 1000 burpees from December 1st to December 30th (not including penalty burpees!)
•        You must do a minimum of 35 burpees/day toward your 1000 + Any Paleo Penalty Burpees!!  Daily WOD burpees count toward your 1000, not toward your penalty burpees!!
•        If you miss a day of burpees, that’s ok… just make them up the next day!  Miss two days in a row and you get a DNF for the burpee challenge!

Burpee totals will be posted on the website weekly!

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:  Can’t choose just one… Gotta be All-in!!
•        Challenge goes from December 1st – December 30th
•        $20 to participate, money goes toward a cheat dinner for all participants upon completion of the challenge.
•        Honor system on points and burpees, weekends included!

  9. I have to say although I’m not a fan of many of the foods on paleo I do love the effect on my body 🙂 I started being stricker again two weeks ago and already notice the difference.

    Not sure if you got your bread question answered. If you Google “paleo bread recipe” you should get a bunch of different results. I’m not sure any would be sandwich worthy. Also, the “Paleo Comfort Foods” cookbook has a recipe for tortillas. I’ve made them a few times. They’re more like crepes than real tortillas but they do the job when necessary and they freeze pretty well if you make a bunch. Or you could go hardcore and go without for 30 days. I’m sure your military training has prepared you for worse.

    Although this year I am a little scared how it is going to make me feel. Not sure if holding the pierogi crown is worth it!

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
