The Barbell Club with Coach Doug is an opportunity for athletes at the shed to get in some extra work, in addition to the weekly programming. If you like the programming, but you have goals that require extra work, then the Barbell Club might be for you!
The BBC is a strength program that focuses on building strength through 4 fundamental lifts: Back squat, deadlift, bench press and strict press.
What you can expect: We will follow the Wendler cycle to increase strength in the 4 lifts along with accessory work, conditioning, core strength and skill movements.
When: We are offering 2 separate classes – Wednesday/Saturday and Wednesday/Sunday. Everyone will meet as a whole on Wednesday and we will split into 2 separate classes on the weekend depending on your availability.
Proposed dates: Wednesday classes 7:30-9pm, Weekend day at 11-12:30
