Do you love your food?
Do you love your training?
Do you love the way you look… the way you feel?
Simple questions that probably don't get asked enough… why? Probably because we don't want to scare you away!!
The reality of it is simple… when you take the time to find, clean and prepare high quality foods, that preparation is done with much love and respect for yourself and the food you are preparing to put in your body. Believe it or not, that LOVE has a lot to do with how you absorb those nutrients! You don't get the same love from food that is processed in a plant, or comes in a container, or is cooked by some guy in the back of a restaurant. Taking time to search for high quality nutrition and preparing it alone or with your family is a very fulfilling experience that goes a long way. It sets the tone for a lifestyle and a lifetime of great eating habits and impeccable health!
How you go about your training is no different! If you just come to the gym and go through the motions, your results will be a direct result of your effort! Approach your training with passion! There is nothing wrong with being emotional about your fitness… in fact, I believe you need to LOVE your training and show it the same respect and attention of any other important part of your life! I know I am emotionally attached to certain pieces of equipment at the shed because we worked together for many hours and repetitions to achieve a sense of fulfillment in the gym. "CrossFit" certainly does not define me as an athlete… the "LOVE & PASSION" I feel towards my fitness is who I am when I am in the gym, at home with all my girls, shopping for & cooking our food and every other minute of my life!
Every year I get older, I have a greater appreciation for what I am capable of doing, no matter what that is, I love it!
Love your food
Love your fitness
Love your life!
yours in fitness,
