  • Favorite WOD/movement: Snatch, Clean, and always up for a good Chipper WOD
  • Least favorite WOD/movement: Double Unders, Toes to Bar, and my new rival HSPU’s

This improvement occurred during the winter when I didn’t do any running. The improvement was a result of improved work capacity and the mental edge to push myself when I may have previously slowed to a more comfortable pace.

 IMG_1051

  • Shedhead since: May 2009
  • Favorite WOD/Movement: body weight WOD’s like Cindy
  • Least Favorite WOD/Movement: Deadlifts/SDHP (rough on my lower back)
  • Most notable achievement: Being able to ride my mountain bike and DH bike again without pain! Mountain biking with Scott is one of my most favorite things to do. About 2 ½ years ago my back pain became so severe, I practically stopped riding, and when I did ride, I paid with severe pain after (lower back problems run in my family and I have two degenerative discs). A year ago, friends (Lily and John) introduced Scott and I to the Shed. I was doubtful (assumed I would live with back pain forever) and afraid exercising would be just as painful as riding my bike. One year later, and I’m back on my bike stronger than ever, achieving things not physically possible before. It takes quite a lot these days to aggravate my back, and when my back gets sore, I recover ten times faster!
  • Describe the shed in three words: Family, Essential, Life
