As you may or may not know, I wear several hats… one of which is the programmer. Along with that comes many great opportunities to take fitness programming to an individual level; and we have done that with the ADC, and offering individualized programming and 1-1 sessions… not just group classes.
I have had the privilege to work with many wonderful and fascinating people, all of which are always more than willing to share their experiences.
Below is a message from Chad… a guy who is oozing with optimism!! Always high energy, and always positive and supportive to everyone around him. After participating in two ADCs, he realized the individual approach would reel him and and keep him focused on his fitness priorities. I see him changing in mind, body and spirit… and I have joked in the past that the day Chad goes shirtless in a WOD is the day I drop the mic and exit the building!! Thanks for the great message Chad!
I would really like to help express to your clientele the value of all the personalized training and adc work and how it has impacted me. So here goes:
I've been training at the Redshed for just about three years now. I was an athlete all my life even as an adult but like some of us I let myself slip. Even after a solid year of crossfit at the shed I just wasn't getting to where I wanted to be. I think a lot of it was that I didn't really know what my goals were and how to achieve them. Being at the shed, everyone has seen me get in good shape and then everyone has also seen me slip and gain upwards of 25lbs. Both times I dialed in and set the right goals and then executed a plan to achieve those goals it was with Pat's guidance and personalized approach toward my training. He helped me evaluate what was important to me and then tailored my training specific to my goals, my weaknesses and my limitations. I recently started a five week program with Pat's guidance and personalized programming and we coupled it with extremely clean nutrition. In 5 weeks I lost 23 pounds, I'm off of 3/4 of my blood pressure medications, I got stronger, faster, and all of my joint pain is 85% better. I am experiencing back end power which means I am not falling apart half way through a WOD. I truly feel as if we've found the proverbial "fountain of youth". I wanted to take an opportunity to share this with all of you because this experience has completely changed my life. The funny thing is that I'm not putting in any more effort, its just been a specific effort guided by Pat that has helped me achieve my goals. My biggest goal is health and longevity, I want to beat my genetic odds and today I have a clear way to do that. Thanks everyone, I hope this helps some of you, and a special thanks to Pat for everything!
Just one message from happy client can make a huge difference in a coach's approach in his/her life's work!
Feel free to use the comments if you can add to Chad's words… whether it's been an experience with me or any one of our talented, devoted Coaches… it's always tremendously gratifying to hear a message of appreciation!

I too have recently reevaluated my fitness along with CPJ’s guidance and encouragement. I started at the shed back in the end of 2011. I loved the whole aspect of it and I had gotten really into it and my whole body and outlook on fitness changed. I was a dance major back in college and I was close to my “dance” body and strength and was loving it. Then I had an injury and had to take some time off, doctors’ orders. Since that time off I haven’t gotten my grove back. So I needed to do something, but what? Then Pat offered the first ADC and I signed up right away and love it, so much that I kept the personal programming aspect of it after that ADC session ended. I felt more engaged and focused. It was awesome. Some time passed and I stopped the personal programming due to getting my boys into the shed with some private coaching during their hockey off season. Fast forward…..Hockey season started up again and I began to reflect on where I was with my goals and how I was feeling psychically and emotionally. While I took inventory I realized I needed to “reset”. I reached out to Pat and spoke with him on how to move forward. I started his personal programming 5 weeks ago. I love it and I love how I feel and how focused I am again. I am excited to come in and see my progress from the week prior. I don’t find myself making excuses not to come in. In speaking with Pat from time to time on the workouts he has personally prescribed to me I have new insight in certain aspects. Such as longevity, strength, and realizing how much more I have in me that was completely eye opening. I still have a long way to go to reach some of my goals I have set but with Pats guidance I know the next 5 weeks will bring me even closer.
Thank you Pat!
