I am a firm believer in karma, what comes around goes around, do unto others as you would have done unto you and everything happens for a reason.
As most of you know, 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. CrossFit was brought into my life so that Pat, Janine, Ally, Cait and some of our dearest, closet friends at the Shed could become part of our lives.
Pat and Janine – all I do is get choked up and fill with tears when I think of how much you mean to me. Words could never describe the gratitude and love. Burpee cookies while I was in the hospital (the only thing I could eat for the first couple of days), there the day I came home from the hospital, encouragement and support to help keep me strong (mentally and physically), sympathy when I needed it and confidence in me when I didn’t have it, and most of all, being there for Scott so he could be there for me.
Cait and Ally Cat – you could never know what you gave to me. So many times all I needed was to cuddle, smile, and not be a grown up, and you were ALWAYS there for me (and still are), holding Cait and playing games with Ally…
CrossFit is not just about strength, it’s about the people!
For the newest family members to the Shed, you can find CrossFit boxes anywhere, but, you will NEVER find Pat, Janine and the family they’ve built ANYWHERE but at the RedShed.
You will get out of CrossFit what you put into it, and it will change your life.
You will get out of the RedShed ten fold what you put into it, and it will become your life.

As you all know I am now a 3 year survivor as they say! It has been an amazing road
with amazing people! I am stronger both in mind and body than ever before! This
journey was made possible by the love and support of my family and friends! This
support was strongest and heartfelt with my RedShed friends! The encouragement
was like no other. I am forever grateful! I could not have done it without you.
I would like to send a special thank you to Pat, Janine, Doug, Colin and
Brielle. Each of you in your own way, helped me along the way. Lastly, my dear
friend Janice. Who so gracefully traveled her journey showed me how to remain
positive and persevere! I have continued admiration for Janice’s continuing
accomplishments!
Thank you all again from the very bottom of my heart! This is a journey I will never forget!
Love you all!
