The thing about this life is that people and stuff can come and go… and yet you still remain… and how those people and stuff relate to you; or how you related to them, leaves you where you’re at, and who you are.
In CrossFit it’s no different!
The Sectionals have evolved to become The Open, and the WODs from 2009 would be somewhat of a joke to most of the competitors now! Thrusters and pull-ups will come and go, yet you will remain. Battered and bruised? Maybe. Less skin? Probably. But how you dealt with those WODs and movements will determine your level of CrossFit badassery (and I mean that relatively speaking!!).
Chances are… in the RedShed, your weakness have been exposed at some point. We speak very strongly about not avoiding those weaknesses. Words are easy to speak and write… actions take courage and conviction. It is not easy to admit you have a weakness, let alone set aside time to actually address it! But I promise you… attack your fears in the gym and the fears in your life become a little easier to face.
